This work analyzes various aspects of the political situation in the Caribbean, and its relation to Venezuela, with special reference to Guyana, and its past "socialist" experiment of cooperative production. The essay of the author, Franz J. T. Lee, demonstrates that the PNC governing party did not have the foggiest idea what scientific and philosophic socialism should be, and this is one of the causes of its complete failure
