Resumen
Este trabajo constituye una introducción al socialismo científico y filosófico, es decir, al marxismo. El complejo concepto del socialismo científico se hace accesible mediante un menú de temas que tocan lo esencial del asunto, empezando con la distinción entre los pensamientos y escritos de un autor y su posterior conversión en "doctrina" o "ismo", siguiendo con la explicación de conceptos y tópicos como el materialismo histórico-dialéctico, la dialéctica como método, la interpretación materialista de la historia, la teoría y praxis de Marx, los conceptos de alienación y superación, para terminar refutando el supuesto "economicismo" en la teoría de Marx.

Abstract
This work intends to provide an introduction into scientific-philosophical socialism-i.e., Marxism. The complex concept of scientific socialism is made accessible through a menu of themes touching the essence of the matter, beginning with the distinction between the thoughts and writings of a thinker and their latter conversion into a "doctrine" or "-ism". The essay goes on to explain concepts and topics like historical-dialectical materialism, dialectics as a method, the materialist interpretation of history, the theory and praxis of Marx, the concepts of alienation and sublation, and concludes with the refutation of the supposed "economism" in Marx’s theory.
